The Airedale Terrier is the largest of the terrier group, and is known as the “king of terriers”. It has been used as a police and military dog but has been traditionally used as a hunting breed. In several wars, they have been used as dependable dispatch bearers due to their ability to sustain wounds without being hesitant at the next call for duty.
